About the Role
In this newly created full-time, remote position, the successful candidate must have deep experience in marketing and communications. You will be both a leader and implementer of the strategic and day-to-day activities for all marketing and branding aspects of the organization. We seek a team player who rolls up their sleeves and dives in.
ATIA reaches a broad and diverse base of communities. This diversity requires understanding how to reach these audiences and segments as well as knowing how to best communicate our message appropriately to each segment.
In this role it is not enough to learn about the industry, you will deep dive into how our industry and association operates in a much larger ecosystem. Enthusiasm and willingness to focus on the nuances of our audiences and segments along with the zeal to take risks and try new ways to broaden ATIA’s reach is critical.
This leader in this role will be responsible for:
Developing and executing compelling, comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy amplifying the brand across a multitude of communication vehicles and media platforms (emails, newsletters, website copy, brochures, press releases, social media, promotions, etc.)
Contributing to and participating in the strategic planning of annual communications and marketing budget
Leading content development and ideation for broad and targeted communications
Keeping a keen focus on accessibility in all methods of communication and engagement delivered by ATIA
Developing and implementing strategies to implement marketing programs that promote ATIA’s annual conference, Learning Center, Subscription program and all member-related activities.
Managing external vendors, providing direction and ensuring delivery of high-quality marketing materials, on-time and on budget
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and drive initiatives to increase visibility and engagement via association website and social media platforms
Develop KPI’s and data analyzation processes to measure success and ROI of campaigns, recalibrating tactics and approaches to meet and exceed goals
Ensures accurate, consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. Responsible for reviewing all outgoing messaging to maintain quality assurance and brand guidelines.
Creates content and provides communications advice and guidance for both internal and external contributors.
This position is fully remote and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. You must have a willingness to travel for a small percentage of the time for quarterly association meetings, team-building events, annual meeting of the association and other times as needed.

The ideal candidate will have not only experience with marketing campaigns, social media strategies and working across multiple teams, but also the following:

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; results oriented.
Ability to manage and analyze data trends and statistics to assist in a data driven decision making process.
Demonstrated skills at using a range of technologies such as Canva, email marketing tools, and WordPress CMS. Experience working on the following platforms or similar: EMMA email platform, Survey monkey, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook ad platforms.
Advanced technology skills using; Office 365 products, Zoom
Familiarity with accessibility requirements and knowledgeable about disabilities
5+ Years working in a similar role or within an association, not for profit organization
Bachelor’s Degree required
