We have a great opportunity for an International Music Strategy Manager to come and join the band. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the way our Music teams in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia work together and with the rest of our global team.
Working with the EMEA+SAS Lead, you will partner closely with the Music teams in each market to identify challenges and develop innovative, scalable solutions that can be implemented across the EMEA+SAS region. You will help to develop local music strategy, as well as execute against global music priorities and company wide initiatives, helping to tailor these strategies to fit local market conditions.

What you’ll do

- Support and advise music teams in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia Subset region
- Represent the markets & their local and regional interests in global forums
- Embed in key local and regional meetings and workstreams
- Maintain regular 1:1s with local Music teams
- Visit markets regularly to understand day-to-day workflows
- Foster “Music Team” culture, nurture cross-territory learning and collaboration
- Drive collaboration between Music teams in EMEA+SAS and central teams
Who you are

- You have 5+ years of proven music industry experience in the EMEA region, at an established digital music service, record label, or media company
- You have 2+ years of experience in an international work environment
- You have basic knowledge of the EMEA region including music, cultures, and trends
- You understand how each music team operates, collaborates & contributes to local and global business objectives
- You are able to communicate and build close working relationships with peers and management across broad and complex geographic regions
- You are extremely organized, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay exceptional attention to detail
- You are curious about travel, geography, and culture
- You possess a perfect level of written and spoken English. A second and/or third language is a plus!
