Boeing Europe, is looking for a Security Advisor working out of the Paris office to support the operations of our Boeing teams in France and Southern Europe.

Reporting to the regional security leader, the main function of this position will be the design, development, implementation and adaption of organizational policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property information and maintaining a safety environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations.

Working closely with Boeing International leadership and Enterprise Services, the Security Advisor, will assess risk, advise and deliver technical expertise to business leaders as well as to other security professionals and local points of contact. They will also provide guidance and solve problems related to company information security, industrial security, investigations, controlled goods, emergency preparedness, crisis management and computing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as primary security focal and fire protection advisor for assigned countries.
  • Develops plans and leads responses to emergencies and crises.
  • Provides security and fire protection expertise to management and cross functional teams in strategic, tactical, operational and business planning activities.
  • Leads security activities in assigned countries; supports the activities of other security professionals and security focals working for Boeing and its subsidiaries.
  • Leads on a range of security compliance and risk assessments to meet internal Enterprise mandates as well as local requirements.
  • Implements security risk management solutions across multi-disciplinary situations to enable successful and compliant business outcomes.
  • Maintains security and fire assurance databases ensuring timely high-quality inputs to support organizational governance.
  • Leads and integrates executive protection support services and International travel security policies and processes to include the provision of high-risk travel requirements.
  • Leads the deployment of safety and security plans for high profile events e.g., International air shows, flight tests and customer events.
  • Engages with national and local law enforcement, security and intelligence agencies to ensure the effective delivery of Boeing activities and requirements.
  • Leads the design and delivery of training to meet changes in safety and security legislation, requirements and customer demands. Supports, advises and trains employees.
  • Travel within Europe to other Boeing sites, with long-haul international travel.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite on a frequent basis.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must demonstrate English language competency.
  • 8 years’ experience in risk management, crisis response, business continuity, physical, information and personnel security.
  • Knowledge of security practices and principles associated with risk analysis and assessment.
  • Proficiency in contingency planning and response including training and assessing performance.
  • Must be legally able to work in the European Union.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Proficiency in a third language.
  • Experience in security technology management, security training, fiscal management and people and asset protection
  • Lead experience providing support to colleagues and new employee.
  • Working knowledge of European data protection practices.
  • Post-secondary education

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years’ related work experience, 19 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in France or Italy. The employer is Boeing France or Boeing Italy. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in France or Italy. Benefits and pay are determined locally and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
