Job Responsibilities
You will be assigned a portfolio of clients to cover/acquire and will be responsible for the following:
- Mapping the client landscape – scoping wallet, market share, competitors and opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong and lasting client relationships;
- Leading the deal team for bid processes, institutionalizing the pitch across the firm;
- Remaining the key contact for all commercial aspects of the relationship focusing on growing market share;
- Help maximize revenue with existing clients whilst building relationships with prospective clients;
- Source leads and independently run with prospective client deals throughout the sales cycle;
- Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate effectively and deliver the client agenda
- Work with the wider Sales team to improve efficiencies and drive team output
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You bring an existing strong knowledge of Prime Finance and / or Clearing with Execution
- You can demonstrate experience working with Hedge Fund and Alternative Clients
- You think strategically and creatively, with excellent attention to detail
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can engage and influence partners and stakeholders: you can communicate concepts and ideas with influence, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time market pressures and easily remain focused on client needs
- You value team work and can be a reliable partner
- You are proud of your ability to navigate the bank and work across other Lines of Business
- You can identify innovative solutions to best serve customers and manage risk
