The team is searching for a talented, experienced, and ambitious Vice President to lead the team across EMEA & to manage the operational activities and external relationships with life Insurance companies and co- brokers providing support to the business.
Job responsibilities
- Set priorities and manage day to day operational tasks and controls for the Life Insurance Business in coordination with broader Operational and Front Office teams.
- Maintain relationships with all Life Insurance Companies and co-brokers to resolve operational and administrative tasks related to policyholder processes.
- Define and report on key operational metrics in the Life Insurance Business Control Forum and oversee the performance of Life insurance company operational activities via service level agreements.
- Ensure policies and procedures performed by the team are maintained and respected.
- Define a strong control framework, enhance, and automate processes to reduce operational risk.
- Coordinate with Technology to maintain and enhance systems and tools used to oversee Life Insurance Business, including feeds from external parties.
- Responsible for managing (Objective setting and performance management) and developing (coaching, career progression and training) people.
- Define, maintain an archive of all Life Insurance Company documentation (in multiple languages) and distribute to front office teams on request.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience in Middle/Back Office Wealth Management operations and Life Insurance.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Experienced leading a team, working on managing day to day tasks, career planning & objective setting.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task while partnering and escalating appropriately.
- Intellectually curious and able to solve issues proactively. Maturity, positive can-do attitude, and flexibility to handle changing situations.
- Control orientated.
- Organized, hard- working, career-minded with attention to detail and high level of customer service.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge on Luxembourg Funds preferable (FID/FIC/FAS).
- Understanding of life insurance solutions and industry experience, with Luxembourg insurers.
