Experience we are looking for:
- Degree +5 including specialization in Procurement.
- 2 to 5 years in the Procurement function, including experience in Supply Chain (especially in MRO and Facility Management)
- Knowledge of Source to Pay processes, including projects at European and International level.
- Open minded, curious, agile & able to navigate through ambiguity.
- Business & results oriented.
- Proven negotiation experience with delivering savings from suppliers as well as influencing key internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management, communication & analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
- Languages: fluent in French & English. Spanish is a plus.
Mission :
In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic Indirect Procurement team across Europe and Australia (EUAU). You will directly report to the Procurement Supply Chain Manager.
The EUAU Procurement team (direct and indirect) is built across 4 main countries, France, UK, Switzerland, and Australia, with circa 30 people.
The Buyer will effectively engage and partner with key stakeholders in Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality to support the organization in optimizing spend on Supply Chain Operations related goods and services. You will develop category strategies to meet business needs, align the category to best practice, and create effective synergies across our plants. Key spend areas are MRO & Facilities. It is likely that could support different projects on Capex to support peak activities in this area.
Some of the key expectations from the role are:
- Develop & implement a Procurement strategy, partnering closely with Supply chain team in Europe and Global Procurement team based in US.
- Build strong Supplier Relation Management (SRM) with strategic partners to further develop our business & competitiveness while ensuring strong level of service.
- Deliver market intelligence and innovations that will both nourish the strategy, support decision making with your stakeholders. Be able to build inflationary guidance to support the yearly budgeting scheme and/or the Sales team for their retailer negotiations.
- Secure supplier relationships through regional or global contracts.
- Collaboration with key cost centre owners to support them managing their costs including key supplier negotiations. Propose & build cost reduction plans beyond annual RFP, negotiation & renewal to feed a short to medium term pipeline.
- Ensure all dealings with suppliers are conducted with ethics and integrity and comply with General Mills corporate guidelines.
- Establish metrics, processes and procedures, and partner governance management model to ensure optimum service, performance, and pricing.
- Potentially able to cover other categories or projects amongst Supply Chain (Capex, Logistics) : project lead, project management, cross functional work, negotiation & execution of contracts.
