As a Structurer in our team, you will look after our large EMEA Sales team focusing on selling Structured Products to private banks, retail distribution channels, family offices and asset managers. You will play a central role in pricing and designing high quality products and supporting both sales and trading in the process.

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, proficiency in Python programming, and excellent interpersonal skills. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, learn about the industry, and deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

We are a leading team in Equity Derivative within the sell-side of the financial industry. Our team collaborates closely with Trading, Sales, Quants, Legal, Compliance, Research and Operations to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet our clients’ requirements. Our clients include major Asset Managers, Distributors, Fund managers, and Hedge Funds.

Your job as structurer sits between Sales and Trading and you will support both teams on live requests from clients as well as executing transactions. Your strong quantitative background will drive deep conversation with our Quants team to understand pricing models and their limitations and strengths. Your innovative mindset is of utmost importance to think outside the box when designing new products as well as guiding sales and trading to find solutions for challenging problems in your day-to-day tasks.

Job responsibilities

  • Ideate, structure and price Equity Derivative products tailored to client needs for retail investors and asset managers.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Quants, Legal, Compliance and Operations to ensure seamless execution of Structured Product transactions
  • Work closely with Trading and Quants in analysing risks of products, and ideate risk management strategies to deploy
  • Coordinate with Quants in developing innovative Quantitative Models for structuring and risk management of novel products that address market needs
  • Analyse market trends and data to inform product development and client strategies
  • Program and automate processes using Python to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to team’s continuous learning and development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Finance
  • Basic understanding of Derivatives, with robust foundational knowledge (Futures, Forward, Vanilla Options. Exotics is a plus)
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience or internships in Derivatives role, particularly Equity Derivatives
